Up to £30,000 DOE**My client based in Gloucester are looking for a commercial underwriter to join their dynamic and fast-paced team.

The future looks very bright for my client and they are looking for dedicated commercial underwriters to join them during this really excitingtime.

Key duties

Ability to handle queries from customers, brokers and colleagues in a timely and efficient manner
Support the retention of existing portfolio and ensuring a smooth process
Day to day processing of renewals, new business, mid term adjustments and cancellations
Work alongside dedicated regional accounts team to offer support
Able to identify clients with multiple risks which make require insurer referral
Underwrite new and existing business within own authority
Be aware and act within the limit of your individual licence level
Knowledge and confidence to support any technical queries
Minimum of 12 months insurance experience, ideally within commercial insurance
Cert CII desirable but not essential
An awareness and understanding of compliance rules, TCF guidelines and FCA regulations
Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service
Excellent attention to detail
Comfortable working under pressure and within tight deadlines
