Group Accounting Manager

London + some hybrid working

Up to £70-80k +15% bonus

I am delighted to be exclusively partnering with a division of a FTSE 250 services business in the recruitment of a Group Accounting Manager to join their group reporting team based in Central London.

This is a new role because of the increasingly complex nature of the accounting matters which can arise across the Group.

Reporting to the Head of Group Reporting and Financial Control the position will also provide support to both the Group Chief Accountantand the Director of Group Finance.

The role will involve exposure to senior finance management across the Group and will include preparation of technical accounting papers and provision of support and advice to business finance management in developing accounting positions across new contractopportunities and established contracts.

About you:

Strategic thinking and commercial acumen are required in order to support a well-developed understanding of the business and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to prepare and present quality accounting papers to Group seniormanagement and external auditors.

Good stakeholder management and influencing skills are necessary to support the ability to work effectively with all levels of finance management across the Group.

We are seeking a fully Qualified Accountant who is likely to have trained within a top 10 professional practice and gained post qualification experience supporting sizeable clients with statutory reporting and accounting or has since worked in a large, complexbusiness in a technical accounting role.

Experience of IFRS15 is highly preferred.
