Night Porter - York, United Kingdom - New Holgate Hotel

Description

We're looking for a Night Porter to join our small and friendly Team at the New Holgate, our boutique 12 bedroom hotel in York.

Working 4 nights over 7 (40 hours) you will ideally have previous nights experience in a similar role.

You will be responsible for the wellbeing of our guests overnight, ensuring that all safety and security procedures are followed.

In addition, you will be required to set up for breakfast for the following morning and ensure the hotel is ready for the day


Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Friendly and professional demeanor with a focus on hospitality

Salary:
£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability
