MACHINE OPERATORS - EXTRUSION/ BLENDING

PERMANENT | BRYNMAWR, SOUTH WALES | SALARY £23k (Inc Shift Allowance)

SHIFT PATTERN:


  • 3 shift pattern, Monday
  • Friday.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manually packing product from the extrusion lines
  • Loading finished goods onto pallet with 15 & 25kg bags ready for shipping
  • Operating the FLT to transport finished goods
  • Operating multiple extrusion lines
  • Regular process audits and clean down
  • Responsible for the safe operation of equipment and processes as part of the shift team
  • Working as part of a team, assisting others in carrying out their duties within the production area
  • Having the willingness to pass on knowledge and experience to others
  • You will be working in teams and operating large scale machinery to very specific conditions
  • Ensuring that a safe working environment and our industry standards are always maintained

EXPERIENCE

  • Operating machinery desirable but not essential
  • Experience of shift work desirable but not essential
  • FLT licence desirable but will receive full training to achieve this

  • Punctuality is key for this department
  • We're wanting selfmotivated individuals that can work alone but also well within a team
  • We are also looking for individuals who are keen to progress and learn, as the business plans to grow and invest in its people and infrastructure
  • Ensure that our product quality standards are met
