About Our Client:
Our client is a nation medical and nursing organisation who are currently recruiting an Immediate Start telephone advisor to help in the busy office.
The service is open 7 days a week and shifts are between 08:00 - 21:00 within their lively recently refurbished offices in Luton.
Immediate Start telephone advisor is:
- To be the first point of contact for the service user
- To answer all incoming telephone calls and direct them appropriately
- Will be responsible for inputting new referrals
- To provide information to callers in response to enquiries for information
- To identify referrals requiring immediate response and redirect appropriately
- To contribute to the continuous improvement of service.
- To effectively manage incoming and outgoing post.
- To establish priorities and work independently.
The Successful Applicant:
Immediate Start telephone advisor will have:
- Excellent keyboard skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Previous experience with computer systems
- Proficient in the use of IT systems e.g. Word, Excel
- The ability to organise and prioritise own workload
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively when under pressure
- Good customer care skills
