Your New Role
As an SEO specialist at WBD, you will play a crucial role in optimising the online presence and visibility of the HBO Max streaming service.
You will work within the incumbent web marketing team to implement strategies, analyse data, and improve search engine rankings, ultimately driving organic traffic and subscriptions.
This position is ideal for a passionate and analytical individual with a solid understanding of SEO principles and the digital media landscape.
Your Role Accountabilities
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities for improving organic search rankings.
- Analyse search trends and user behavior to develop effective SEO strategies.
- Optimise website content, metadata, and other onpage elements to improve search engine visibility.
- Collaborate with creative services and developers to implement SEO best practices.
- Develop and execute link building strategies to enhance the website's authority and improve organic rankings.
- Monitor and analyse website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms.
- Prepare regular reports on key SEO metrics, including rankings, traffic, conversions, and user engagement.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
- Share insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement in SEO strategies.
- Support the web team on other optimisation activities including; planning, testing and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in SEO, preferably in a digital media or entertainment industry.
- Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and HTML/CSS.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detailoriented, with strong organisational and project management abilities.
