About Our Client:
Seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a fast paced dynamic finance team based in Redhill.
- Establish and review credit limits for customers based on risk assessments.
- Identifying incorrect charges on accounts through detailed auditing
- Liaise with other departments to ensure that issues are resolved quickly & correctly, to assist customer in payment.
- Conduct thorough credit assessments of new and existing customers.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure credit limits align with business objectives.
- Monitor and manage overdue accounts.
- Implement effective debt collection strategies to recover outstanding payments promptly.
- Address inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare and present regular credit control reports to management.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving credit control processes.
- Ensure compliance with the company's credit policy and relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate customer credit files.
- Document all interactions and actions taken regarding credit control.
The Successful Applicant:
- You will be a team player who can communicate effectively with clients and colleagues with logical problem solving abilities.
- Proven experience in credit control or a similar financial role.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- May be studying towards an accountancy degree
