As the Apprentice Electrician your duties & responsibilities will include:

• Must have sat and passed SECTT test.
• Must be ready to start a SCQF 7 in Electrical Installation and complete FICA assessment within 5 years.
• Gain hands on operational experience by working closely with the qualified electricians and other members of the engineering teams and carrying out all tasks as instructed.
• Assist in the installation, testing and maintenance of electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using both hand tools and power tools
• Assist in fault diagnosis using testing equipment, hand tools and carry out any repairs as instructed.
• Gain an understanding of webbased records associated with completion tests and assist in keeping these records up to date
• Ensure a high standard of housekeeping whilst works are progressing
• Ensure that all methods of works comply with the company policies, in particular health & safety.
• Proactive in approach to work

Additional Information

• You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools
• You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground
• You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction

£10,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
