You are meant for this job if:
Qualifications Requirements:
School Leaver Requirements - required at Nat.
5 Grade B or above:
- English
- Maths
- Science (preferably Physics)
- Graphic Communication (preferable but not essential)
College Leaver Requirements:
- In addition to above: NC and/or HNC Mechanical Engineering
Experience/Skills:
- Good workload and time management skills
- Good people management skills
- Drive and commitment for results to a high standard of excellence
- Commitment to continued professional and personal development
Drawing Office:
The Apprentice Draughtsperson will complete a structured 4 year engineering program covering all technical competences to fulfil the role of a draughtsperson.
Apprentice Draughtspersons will be trained to perform the activities assigned to Draughtspersons.
We are looking for those with an eye for detail and creative talent with a keen interest in graphic communication.
The key activities for Draughtsperson are summarised below:
- Identify any key draughting issues or problems within the Drawing Office and inform the Drawing Office Manager.
- Draughting interface and support for our business units or any other client.
- Review and checking of technical drawings to ensure they comply to office procedures.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as requested by the Drawing Office Manager.
