About Our Client:

Our client is a reputable player in the industrial/manufacturing sector.

They are a large organisation with a significant presence in Bolton, known for their commitment to innovation, sustainability, and employee development.


HR-related tasks include:

  • Helping the Head of HR with recruitment activities throughout the company
  • Assisting in the onboarding of new employees, including handling necessary paperwork, verifying work eligibility, and organizing orientation sessions
  • Aiding in the administrative aspects of existing benefits programs as needed
  • Managing individual processing tasks such as responding to reference requests and drafting general correspondence
  • Helping maintain the HR and access control systems, which involves tracking employee absences, generating reports, and keeping employee files up to date through filing and scanning
  • Monitoring the completion of critical documents like probation and performance review forms, including training and development requests
  • Contributing to key HR projects and helping achieve yearly HR goals as required

Site-specific responsibilities:

  • Handling general administrative duties at the site, such as managing visitors, arranging travel, and answering calls
  • Assisting in organizing employee recognition events, including ordering gifts for milestones
  • Helping coordinate company events and communication meetings, along with other sporadic activities
  • Managing general office tasks, such as setting up meetings and arranging for refreshments or meals
  • Providing support for other miscellaneous tasks as needed by senior management

The Successful Applicant:


A successful HR Administrator should have:

  • Experience in HR administrative roles within the industrial/manufacturing sector
  • Knowledge of HR functions and best practices
  • Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures
  • Excellent organisational and timemanagement skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software
