Graduate Technical Assistant


Community Windpower is at the forefront of wind energy development in the UK with over 1GW of renewable energy in their portfolio containing onshore wind farms that are built, under construction and in development.

As renewable energy specialists, we are fully experienced in the identification, design, development, construction and operation of onshore wind energy projects.

We are looking to recruit a graduate searching for a career within the renewable energy industry, specifically wind power. Applicants with an Engineering, Mathematics or Physics degree are preferable.


The role of the Technical Assistant is critical to the successful development and operating of our current and future wind farms.

The position is permanent, full time and based at our Head Office in Frodsham, Cheshire.


Skills and Experience required:

  • Excellent advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills;
  • An engineering, mathematics or physics degree;
  • Strong analytical skills, interest in numbers and statistics;
  • Experience of report writing;
  • Knowledge/experience of programming software;
  • Knowledge of wind energy, wind turbine technology is preferential;
  • High levels of energy and motivation;
  • Have a capability to communicate clearly to other specialists and professionals who are not from a technological/engineering background;
  • A clean, full driving license is essential as there will be trips to Scotland to visit operational and future wind farm sites.

Salary:
£22,500.00 per year
