Who we are

What we are looking for
We are rapidly scaling up production of the CUE1 and shipping orders to people around the world. We are looking for a Logistics Assistant to join our team.

In this role, you will be supporting the Supply Chain/Logistics function with a focus on inventory, logistics and supply chain.

You'll also be involved in a variety of projects across the company including the implementation of a new ERP system.

The CUE1 is a delicate medical device, and we are still optimising the manufacturing process as we scale. Attention to detail is vital for this position.

This is an in-person role held in our company offices in Cambridge, UK.

You will be working both independently and as part of a small team so will need to be a self-starter.

This is a full-time role.

About the role

Logistics

Work with suppliers, freight forwarders and couriers to coordinate inbound and outbound logistics including import and export declarations and documentation.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that shipments are processed on time and proactively communicate any delays and potential solutions
Record and track all incoming and outgoing shipments and follow up with couriers and freight companies regularly to ensure timely delivery
Pack products for shipping in alignment with all company SOPs and processes.

Inventory

Ensure PO receipts, Sales Orders & Returns have been processed correctly through the company systems, taking corrective action when required to prevent inventory misalignment.
Report on inventory discrepancies, and develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices
Assist as necessary in overseeing product compliance activities such as labelling of stock and warehouse management.
Complete regular inventory and systems checks including investigation and adjustments to keep systems aligned

General

Aid the Supply Chain team with Process Improvement, Project Work, Master Data, and General Problem Solving as and when required
Assist with maintaining supply chain data integrity within company systems
Support the finance team with month and yearend activities including reporting as and when required
Ensure that the warehouse is clean and tidy at all times

Salary:
£23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
