Emphasis Ltd is an independent HR and Training consultancy based in Romsey, Hampshire. We provide outsourced HR and training services to a rapidly growing client base.

Our clients value our practical, commercial approach to HR. We work alongside our clients, as trusted advisors, to deliver solutions to their trickiest and thorniest people issues.

Dealing with the most complex and challenging issues for a wide range ofclients, the only certainties are no two days will ever be the same and you will be constantly learning.

You will have a flexible, resilient and confident approach to tackle a wide range of HR projects including:

  • working alongside business owners, to develop their people strategy, devise solutions to deal with skills gaps, training needs and blocks to growth
- managing high level, contentious employee relations issues such as board level dismissals, settlement agreement conversations and negotiations, TUPE consultations, redundancy processes and independent investigations. You will also manage disciplinary, capability,grievance and appeal meetings
- providing all round expert HR and employment law advice and support for the recruitment, reward, management and retention of employees.

To meet this challenge, you will be an independent, enthusiastic HR generalist with significant previous experience. You will have a commercial approach to all aspects of HR, a level head and unrivalled communication skills.

This role is varied and fastpaced so the ability to manage a diverse client base, prioritise your work and meet tight deadlines is essential.


Much of our work is delivered at our clients' premises and therefore you will be travelling across the south of England, London and the home counties.

You should be CIPD qualified and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the key issues facing businesses. A car and current UK driving licence is essential for the role as is the ability to work flexibly.
