Contract Status: 35 Hours Per Week (9-month fixed term)

Purpose of Position:

Due to the growth of the organisation and the Sports College, we are currently recruiting a Teaching assistant to support the delivery and planning of Fleetwood Town Community Sports College.

We are looking for forward thinking, driven, ambitious people individuals who are enthusiastic, ambitious, hardworking, reliable and want to enhance our education team.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

To assist lead teachers in instructing and organising lessons for students.
To support group or onetoone teaching sessions for pupils.
To support the emotional and social development of students through the tutorial programme.
Assist teachers in preparing materials that address the development needs of targeted students.
To be supported through additional training and recruitment events as per the needs of the College Manager.
To assist in all practical sessions ensuring risk management following internal policy and procedure.
