Spire South Bank Hospital in Worcester has an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper to join our team as part of our Staffing Bank.


Spire South Bank Hospital has been in operation for 30 years providing quality private healthcare to the local population and beyond, earning a reputation as a leader in Worcestershire.

We work with some of the areas most experienced Consultant Surgeons, Anaesthetists and Physicians to deliver tailored, personalised care.

We are proud of the positive patient feedback we receive and are currently undertaking refurbishment of our in-patient bedrooms following significant recent investment.


Duties and responsibilities

  • Complete cleaning schedules related to the shift, ensuring rooms are ready set to the correct layout as needed and both offices and public areas are clean
  • To work in close liaison with the clinical staff dealing with the varying needs of the hospital
  • Compliance with all Health and Safety at Work Regulations including COSHH.
  • Carry out any other duty that reasonably falls within the general nature and level of responsibility of the post.

Who we're looking for

  • No formal qualifications are required you must be able to communicate with other members of staff and patients clearly and your personal appearance must be of a high standard, expected in a professional healthcare environment.
  • Experience of working in a similar role i.e. hospitality, or in a customer facing environment
  • Previous experience in hospitality and/or housekeeping is desirable but not essential
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work on own initiative and with a methodical approach to work Flexible to work various shift patterns between Monday-Sunday
