Full time Hours: 15 hours per week (weekend work may be required)


Holidays: 29 days pro-rata


Remuneration:
£11 - £16 per hour, along with a competitive package commensurate with experience will be offered.

The North Berwick Golf Club is one of the longest established golf courses in the world and golf has been played over the West Links since the 17th century.

A long-standing championship venue, North Berwick has hosted The Open, Final Qualifying and many other prestigious and international Championships. We have over 700 members and welcome 10,000+ visitors each year.

We are looking to recruit an experienced part time Handy Person to undertake repair tasks within the clubhouse building and on the golf course.

We will rely on you to keep our facilities in perfect condition by doing various jobs.


JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for performing multiple repair and maintenance tasks throughout the day, which could include, but is not limited to carpentry work, plumbing, painting, flooring, outdoor landscaping and general facility repairs.

• General Plumbing: toilets, faucets, fix leaks, etc.
• Facility Repairs: doors, doorknobs, locks, broken tiles, polish floors, staining, etc.
• Outdoors: landscaping immediate areas to clubhouse & club entrance
• Changing light bulbs and ensuring other fixtures and fittings are in good working order
• Clearing or cleaning general areas

Your experience in the provision of minor maintenance works: including general maintenance, decorating, compliance and grounds maintenance will set you up to quickly become an important part of our team.

£12.00-£16.00 per hour
