We are seeking a qualified and experienced KS3 and GCSE Science Tutor to join our team.

As a tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality Science education to students in the age range of 11-16 years, helping them to develop their knowledge, skills, and understanding in Science, and preparing them for their KS3 and GCSE exams.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver engaging Science lessons to KS3 and GCSE students
Plan, prepare and deliver effective Science tuition sessions to students
Help students to understand key scientific concepts and principles
Assess and evaluate student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents
Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to improve student engagement and learning outcomes
Identify areas where students need additional support and provide tailored tuition to meet their needs
Maintain accurate records of student progress and ensure that all relevant documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements:

Post-GCSE education in Science or a related field
Previous experience of teaching Science at KS3 and GCSE level is preferred but not essential
Strong knowledge of the KS3 and GCSE Science curriculum
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with online tutoring platforms is desirable.
