Are you an experienced Payroll Officer with experience of working within a Finance department?
Do you have excellent Excel knowledge including formulas and pivot tables?
This could be your next role
Working within a well-established organisation this role will see you being responsible for managing an efficient payroll service where duties will include:
- Ensuring that all PAYE, NI, pension and other statutory returns are accurately completed and submitted by the due date.
- Assisting staff and external organisations with queries relating to gross pay, tax, pensions etc.
- Being responsible for the accuracy and integrity of data stored within the payroll system.
- Undertaking tax and pension year end procedures, preparing returns for HM Inland Revenue, and ensuring P60's, P11D's and other yearend documents are issued to staff
- Monitoring, recording, processing, analysing and disseminating payroll data
- Maintaining a detailed knowledge of statutory payroll requirements, relevant employment law and payroll practices
Your strong knowledge of payroll and pension procedures, experience of producing regular reports, high attention to detail and the ability to work to set deadlines will enable you to excel in this role.
