Infrastructure Services Manager - Salary c£60,000- £70,000 DOE plus Excellent Benefits

We are searching for an experienced and professional
Infrastructure services Managerto lead the IT services division of a market leading Financial Services business.
Your role will support the organisation with the provision of high-quality
IT infrastructure, telecommunications, and business systems, operating a budget of c£2.6M.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, set future strategic planning requirements to support company strategy /employees
- Operate a budget of c.£2.6m, manage an onsite data centre, ensuring systems are secure, stable, and robust
- Provide support to company's employee base c.200 employees, across 5 officebased locations and remote working including senior managers and Directors / heads of Dept
- System documentation and carry out annual remote disaster recovery testing
- Support and develop IT strategy, review, and update to reflect business requirements
- Provide strategic knowledge and leadership, incl. development for Infrastructure employees
- Review technical developments ensuring that efficiency and increased surplus are achieved
- Oversee thirdparty relationships, contract terms, cost negotiation, supplier due diligence
- Manage tender processes for IT hardware, networks and security, telephony, printer hardware and service, software solutions and oversee all IT related purchasing
- Oversee the implementation of equipment and anticipate future needs
- Contribute to the Information Security, Business Continuity and Risk Management Committees, ensure compliance with relevant legislation
- Responsible for ensuring health, safety, and welfare of your employees
- Undertake any other duties which may reasonably be required of you
Essential Skills and Experience:

Qualified with relevant degree ideally (although not essential) but with solid Infrastructure Services experience with proven track record (5+ years) in a professional environment:
- Well presented with gravitas, able to communicate well with employees including Directors
- Experience in management, oversight, maintenance of Microsoft operating environment
- Proven experience of delivery of successful IT systems and technology projects, budget management, production of business cases and change recommendation
- Understanding and experience of change management, proven experience of developing, gaining support organisation wide for and implementing robust systems and solutions
- Strong team working approach and commitment to work with nonIT employees to translate organisation and customer needs into successful service delivery
- Experience of tendering, negotiation, and ongoing oversight of 3rd party supplier relationships
- Working knowledge of Prince II, project management and exposure to financial service sector would be ideal but is not essential
