Membership Relations Adviser (Aberdeen or London, with regional travel


We seek a
Membership professional to fulfil the role of
Membership Relations Adviser, reporting to the
Membership Relations Manager as a key member of the organisation's External Relations team.


The role will include but not limited to:

  • Supporting the strategic recruitment of new OEUK members
  • Understand organisational activities to be clearly articulated to potential and current members.
  • Lead the membership team's social media activity working alongside key stakeholders.
  • Showcasing member news stories through various forms of media.
  • Provide member and industry content for our various media outlets.
  • Attend internal and external events and exhibitions to engage with existing members and promote OEUK's membership.
  • Support the creation and development of compelling membership marketing materials working with the team to maintain accurate and up to date records in our Microsoft Dynamics CRM system.
  • Work with stakeholders at OEUK to encourage a customer focused culture and value proposition.
  • Relevant experience working preferably within a trade association or professional membership body.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering high standards of customer service.
  • Ability to present and sell organisational values, objectives and services to potential members and stakeholders.
  • Excellent knowledge of planning, administration, marketing and member relationship skills and techniques
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and be an effective networker
