Engineer - Highways
Enfield
3-month contract
£27 an hour, umbrella

Key Responsibilities:

  • To undertake inspections and surveys, specialist investigations and prepare feasibility studies for a range of projects relating to the management and maintenance of highways and related assets, and for a diverse range of Environmental, Building and/or CivilEngineering projects.
  • To undertake the detailed design for maintenance and improvement projects, and for 'new build' schemes.
  • To supervise contractors to ensure that they are appropriately performance managed.
  • To prepare specifications and contracts. To procure and manage work through the appointment of specialist contractors or specialist consultants.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • You must have experience in Bridge Inspections using bridge station essential
  • AutoCAD experience.
  • HNC/BSc in civil engineering or other relevant and equivalent qualification (or to be able to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge and expertise)
