An opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Parts Controller to join our team at Access Mechanical Handling Ltd, based at our branch in Bellshill.
Reporting to the Service Manager this role will be to manage day to day running of a small parts department and ensure parts are identified and ordered to support 10 field service engineers.
The Role:
- Oversee day to day running of parts department
- Parts identification using manufacturers online systems, parts manuals & liaising with engineers
- Ordering of parts from various suppliers
- Booking in/out parts/consumables
- Raising purchase orders and logging against stock/jobs
- Stock taking & control of stock levels
- Completing estimates from engineers reports
- Ensuring VOR parts are ordered same day to support service departmentSkills:
- Have the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Microsoft Excel and Word skills to an intermediate standard
- Essential to have some previous experience in parts administration 612 months
Salary:
£26,100.00-£26,500.00 per year
