Description

We're looking for an enthusiastic and friendly
Hospitality Supervisor to join our team on a 30-hour per week basis (annualised), providing a legendary customer experience in our hospitality services, bars and cafe bars at our city-centre venues His Majesty's Theatre, Music Hall and the Lemon Tree.

Our Hospitality Supervisor will work across all venues assisting the day-to-day operations and management of our hospitality services.

This includes a day-time and pre-theatre service at The Terrace, our new bar and cafe at His Majesty's Theatre, day-time cafe bar service at Coda at the Music Hall and a 'Crush Bar' pre-show and interval service with high volumes of customers requiring service over a short period of time, in all three of our venues.

You will also assist in our hospitality service for corporate hospitality, conferences and events.


Our aim is always to provide quality products, professional standards, excellent customer service to enhance the profile and customer experience at all our venues.

As Hospitality Supervisor, you will supervise, train and support staff, work regularly in our bars and cafe bars and ensure the highest standards of customer service and safety.


You will bring confidence, resilience and flexibility, be a great communicator, calm under pressure and have demonstrable experience and understanding of hospitality, licensing, health and safety, and customer service.

You will have bar experience although some experience in cafes, barista, restaurants would be advantageous.


Due to the nature of our business, evening and weekend work is essential, although day time shifts are also available.


Aberdeen Performing Arts is a real living wage employer, the rate pay for this role is based on £13 per hour.

Annualised pay is £20,280 per annum (based on working 30 hours) and we offer an excellent benefits package which includes staff discounts and offers.

We run three city centre venues, His Majestys Theatre, the Music Hall and the Lemon Tree and city centre festivals, including Granite Noir, Light the Blue and Rise Up.
