Description

A commodity and energy trading software company are looking for a Senior Software engineer for a 9-12 month contract.

You'd be working in an innovate team on a range of disruptive ETRM products focused on Green Energy Trading Solutions.

The role requires someone with Microsoft Stack skills, including C#,.Net Framework,.Net Core/.Net 5, SQL, Azure as well as Modern Javascript.

In the midst of an energy crisis, the green energy revolution is under way and reliance on intermittent renewable energies in larger than ever.

You'd play an integral part in the development of commodity trading platforms, helping to design and build a holisticshort-term power trading solution utilising algorithmic trading with machine learning.

Senior Software Engineer

Location:
The City of London (Min 2 days p/week)

Length:
Months

Salary:
£75 - £100 p/hr (Outside IR35)

Key Skills:

C#
Microsoft.

NET Framework and/or.
Net Core/.Net 5/- Microsoft SQL Server

Good security knowledge
REST API
Javascript (Angular 214)
Typescript
Azure

Nice to have:

Web UI (Angular or Typescript)
Microservices
Commodity or energy experience

Responsibilities:

Coding in the required languages, working work towards becoming an expert.
Test-Driven Development approach based on criteria
Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects
Unit test plans and scripts
Follow our Continuous Integration and deployment approach
Follow our Source Control approach with Git
Proactive in understanding and contributing to the technical solution from design through to code level
Software Design and requirements breakdown in the form of User Stories using various Agile methodologies
Interpret written requirements and technical specification documents
