My client is looking for a Business and Project Management Partner to join on them on a 12 month contract.

As a Business and Project Management Partner, you will be responsible for supporting our engineering programme teams and help shape the future of ourBusiness Operations.

Working alongside our engineering community, the Landing Gear Operations team deliver operational management solutions for project & performance management, resource management and people development to enable the Landing Gear engineeringdomain to excel.

As a Business & Project Management Partner, you will be welcomed into a diverse and dynamic functional team and operationally deployed to one of our engineering programme teams

Role:
Business and Project Management Partner

Pay:
£39.00 per hour via Umbrella (Inside IR35)

Location:
Filton

Contract: 12 months

Hours: 35 hours per week Monday - Friday ( across 4.5 days working between 7-7 at business discretion, working 3 days onsite and 2 days WFH)

Job Profile:


  • Assuring that business and project management processes are followed within your engineering programme team.
  • Building and maintaining robust integrated plans with all stakeholders involved.
  • Maintaining a credible resource and financial plan.
  • Promoting a mindset of anticipation to identify and act on potential risks, opportunities and workload evolution.
  • Assuring that internal resourcing and external engineering service supplier activities are launched in line with the plan and managed in accordance with Airbus policy and processes.
  • Proactively managing the collation & reporting of key performance indicators to ensure that the Landing Gear engineering business management data is readily available for effective performance management.
  • Providing guidance and mentoring to our engineering community on business and project management.
  • Supporting Landing Gear engineering with the implementation of Business / Project Management best practices and enabling a culture of continuous improvement.

Skills/Experience Required
Essential

  • Experienced in Business Management and/or Project Management.
  • Customer focused and able to engage, inspire and manage multiple stakeholders with enthusiasm and energy.
  • Ability to be flexible, pragmatic and have an analytical style of working whilst still having good attention to detail.
  • Curious and innovative with a willingness to challenge the norm and learn / continuously improve
*Needs to have an understanding of business acumen and program management
*Functional aspect of engineering, making sure clear visibility of resourcing, costing of functional centre
*Will also be managing budgets, planning, contracts management, risk management
*Behaviours - someone who can work autonomously, not afraid to get stuck in and be very enthusiastic

Education & Training
Essential - Strong experience in a similar role
