JOB DESCRIPTION


The Head of Sales and Marketing will lead a small team of sales, logistics and marketing for Isle of Man Meats, with responsibility for customer relationships and promotion within the UK and further afield.

Growing long term customer relationships and brand recognition for this unique product


ROLE HIGHLIGHTS:


  • Development of customer relationships which include maintaining and developing external customer and industry relationships which are of benefit of the business, including the development and management of key partner relationships
  • Identifying and delivering commercial opportunities
  • Utilising and coordinating effective business relationships within Isle of Man Meats, networking crossfunctionally in order to ensure targets are achieved or exceeded and that our customer needs are met seamlessly
  • Supporting our customers, working collaborating to capture value through using the value proposition of our farmers and unique Island Biosphere
  • Creating a strong and sustaining brand with real meaning to consumers

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A strong desire to strive to be better every day
  • Experience in Customer account management and brokerage dealing in FMCG/commodity markets, we are a small business with a unique proposition
  • A proven track record of building effective relationships at all levels of an organisation
  • The confidence, decisiveness, resilience and ability to thrive under pressure with effective communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to work with own initiative to deliver creative solutions for our customers
  • Exceptional logical, accurate, numerate and analytical skills
  • Excellent IT system skills particularly Excel

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent


Salary:
From £48,000.00 per year
