Are you able to work independently and meet deadlines, whilst providing quality support to colleagues in a busy production environment?

As a key member of the Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for preventative and reactive maintenance throughout the site and be able to respond to emergency situations as well as scheduled planned tasks through the site, whilst also acting "Waste Broker"

In this role, you will be required to:

Maintain a safe and hazard free environment, by disposing of waste through established procedures and channels
Participate as a member of the site 'Spill Team'
Work with contractors and implement good practices within your area of responsibility

The essential requirements of the job include:

Forklift Licence holder
Able to work under pressure to meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
Demonstrate initiative in your daily work, identifying opportunities for improvement and good practice

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Working in a manufacturing environment
Participating in CI, lean and 5S activities

Note:
this role will necessitate shift working and overtime as required to meet business needs
