The Opportunity
As a Rope Access Painter/ Blaster, you will carry out painting duties and tasks competently and safely in accordance with training, skills and specification as instructed and directed by supervision.
You will be aware of the implications of legislation or other good industry practices, relating to the tasks on which they are based, as well as demonstrating full compliance with client, legislative and company procedures.
The maintenance of safety standards must be demonstrated throughout your role, being able to show a personal example of good safety practice and liaise with client and site safety personnel.
You will attend and where necessary conduct 'safety meetings' and 'toolbox talks' as well as participate in accident/ incident investigations as required.
The Person
They will have a strong knowledge of health and safety practices, with the ability to follow such practices within their job.
Essential:
- Experience in working in heavy industry/ construction sites
- Experience on new build sites
- CSCS Industrial Painter, ICATS or Train the Painter Applicator
- Rope access L3
