Green Health Coordinator

Duration:

Fixed Term 1-year July 2024


Hours:
35 hours per week

Salary:

£27,278 to £ 30,309

pro rata (based on a FTE of 35 Hours)

  • Work at a strategic, methodical and consistent manner in the management of the green health prescription, providing a direct link for GPs and associated health care practitioners to refer patients to green and outdoor activities for health and wellbeing outcomes.
  • Develop strong working relationships with green health organisations, community groups, members from statutory, voluntary and private sector for stronger collaboration between sectors and crosssectoral action to achieve positive health outcomes.
  • Work alongside partners in the development and sustainability of the Green Health Prescription and wider Partnership, and support the coordination and diversification of naturebased interventions available locally.
  • Increase community capacity to build a wider menu of green health interventions.

The production coordinator will also be responsible for the following:


Daily responsibilities include scheduling, organizing, and tracking of all raw materials and finished goods.

  • Coordinate all aspects of the production process including ordering, receiving, inventory management, and scheduling of production personnel.
  • Manage inventory control and audit processes.
  • Analyze and report on production costs.
  • Perform monthly audits on inventory control.
  • Assist in maintaining equipment and supplies by performing preventative maintenance as well as reporting any issues to management.

Organizational Skills:

ability to prioritize, multi-task with a high level of attention to detail, ability to manage time effectively, ability to manage competing priorities effectively, ability to manage small projects into a successful project team.

Ability to work independently when needed. Ability to work with other team members effectively in a team environment. Must be able to lift 50lbs without assistance.


Project Management Skills:

ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with effective communication between team members; ability to work with mínimal supervision; ability to work independently with mínimal direction; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to learn quickly; ability to work well under pressure; ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.


Required Skills:

High School Diploma or equivalent; 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel required; knowledge of ERP software preferred; knowledge of SAP preferred; knowledge of QuickBooks preferred; knowledge of warehouse management software preferred.
