Working within a diverse multi-disciplinary team, your role will be varied, including developing, and implementing a robust visitor focused security strategy, working with the Metropolitan Police and the organisation's security contractor.

You will also Develop and manage the delivery of the security programme for the Park, including responsibility for engaging and ensuring that all security personnel working across the park work within the agreed LLDC strategy.

You will work collaboratively, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes.

Reporting to the Director of Parks, Operations and Venues, you will have responsibility for delivering against key objectives and have accountability for your decisions.


You will be an effective communicator and understand the importance of keeping different stakeholders informed and engaged, quickly building credibility and trust with them.

Benefits:


  • The salary for this post is £86,637 per annum, LLDC operates a performancebased incremental pay scale.
  • The probationary period for this post is for three months. Upon successful completion of the probation period, confirmation of employment will be given and the notice period will be three months.
  • This is proposed as a fulltime post working 37 hours per week, although this post will be considered for flexible working.
  • All employees are eligible to join our pension scheme, which is provided by the Local Government Pension Scheme.
  • Annual leave entitlement is 32 days per year, plus bank holidays, prorata for parttime employees. The LLDC leave year runs from 1st April until 31st March and the entitlement will be prorata from the individual's start date.
  • To align with the LLDC objectives, we offer 3 fully compensated volunteer days (prorata for parttime employment) providing all staff with the opportunity to serve the community in which they live in.
  • LLDC will provide employees with an interestfree loan to purchase a season ticket for travel to and from work. Loans are available for the actual cost of the ticket up to a maximum value of £5000.
  • LLDC employees are eligible for a discounted gym membership at the Copper Box Arena and the London Aquatics Centre. Employees can enjoy the use of both stateoftheart gyms and swimming facilities for £15 per month.
  • Benenden is our healthcare service, which gives employees the opportunity to obtain consultations without having to wait on NHS waiting lists.
  • LLDC offers employees a loan of up to £1000 to purchase a bike and equipment through our cycle to work partner.
  • Engaged employee networks to participate in, including the LGBTQ+ Forum and the Race Culture and Equity Group.
