Revenue Accountant

Pinpoint Resourcing are working with a growing Media business based in Camden.


They are seeking a Revenue Accountant who will be focusing on the cost of sales to support the wider finance team permanently.

This role would be perfect for someone looking to make their mark in company that has excellent growth plans.


Responsibilities:


  • Business partnering with commercial finance and other departments to accurately recognise revenue on a monthly basis.
  • Responsible for revenue month end close processes accruals/journal entries.
  • Identify, recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives related to revenue processes.
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, mainly accrued revenue, deferred revenue and accrued expenses.
  • Document sales contracts and related revenue accounting treatment in accordance with company policies.
  • Assistance with budgeting and forecasting across revenue streams, as required.
  • Involvement in the annual audit process for the Group.
  • Other adhoc tasks as and when these arise.

Requirements:


  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Part qualified/Finalist (ACCA or CIMA)
  • US GAAP knowledge
  • NetSuite experience (desirable)

£40,000 - £45,000 DOE

Hybrid - 4 days in the office 1 day from home
