Reporting to the Information Security Manager the purpose of this role is to provide support to the Information and Cyber Security teams to manage DPDgroup UK (DPD) Information Security systems in line with service requirements, Geopost /La Poste information Security standards and directives to successfully maintain our ISO27001 and ISO27701 Accreditation.


You will also provide professional, efficient and effective Information Security support and proactively manage security for DPD and our third party suppliers that we rely on to sort and deliver parcels for us every day.


Key responsibilities:


  • Complete internal and external information security audits and Due Diligence documents for both DPD and approved third party systems and services.
  • Responsible for organising risk assessments and vulnerability assessments on DPD systems and services in accordance with industry best practices
  • Assist with the review of Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA's) and to ensure that appropriate risks are captured where necessary.
  • Contributes to the running of all service management processes within the IT Security environment, primarily involving incident, problem, change, configuration and release management but also including availability, capacity, continuity and SLA management, including reporting KPI's to the wider Geopost and La Poste Group.
  • Assistance with the reviews of DPDgroup UK policies and procedures adhere to appropriate ISO standards and best practice from NIST, OWASP and La Poste ISO27001 based directives.
  • Collaborate with audit teams, addressing findings, and implementing corrective actions to maintain compliance.
  • Assist the Information Security Manager with new projects; project management, infrastructure design, build, test and implementation, support process design and implementation, to ensure that 'Privacy by Design' and Data Protection principles are met.
  • Assist the Information Security Manager with supplier, Geopost and customer management for IT Security related work (Including reviews).
  • To proactively contribute to and be part of the Information Security team
  • Identifying, raising and assisting in responding to and documenting cyber security incidents such as viruses, account compromises, vulnerability exploits, data breaches etc.
  • Prepare and edit reports, presentations, and other documentation for IT security leadership.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Excellent literacy skills and GCSE English grade C or above
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills spoken, written, and presentation
  • Knowledge of ISO27001/NIST/SOC II frameworks
  • Knowledge of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA's)
  • Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience with report writing, responding to RFPs, tenders and be comfortable with being challenged
  • Experience in information security systems, including compliance with the GDPR and Cyber Essentials framework
