We are a leading educational franchise company.

We are looking for someone to work within our finance team to assist a portfolio of small tutoring businesses in various stages of growth on a regional basis, providing finance support, guidance and criteria in which they are required to operate.

The role is on a hybrid 50/50 basis with two days working remote from home and two days at our Head Office based in Gloucester (_Mon & Wed-Home) (Tues and Thurs-Office)_


Duties Include:


  • Ensuring all financial records are up to date
  • Processing weekly accounts payable.
  • Payroll (monthly cycle)
  • Customer Support responding to enquiries to provide timely support to all stakeholders and service users.
  • Provide day to day support for business accounting activities
  • Training stakeholders and service users, existing and new on accounting and reporting processes required to be used
  • Provide debtor management services where required
  • Assist in management of cash flow and financial reporting requirements
  • General Admin duties as required.

The Person:


Knowledge and Experience:


  • 34 years' relevant experience
  • XERO CRM experience
  • Experience of financial processes and systems e.g., Star etc.
  • Accounts Payable experience
  • Payroll & Pensions experience
  • Reconciliation experience
  • Basic understanding of financial statements
  • Knowledge of setting up small business's (_desirable but not essential_)
  • AAT/ACCA/CIMA Qualification (_desirable but not essential_)

  • Ability to travel and participate on an annual basis in our National Conference which occurs one weekend per year.

Training

  • Our overall system is bespoke built by our IT Department therefore inhouse training will be provided.
