Shield Security have several vacancies for security officers on a variety of sites within the city of Sheffield. The role is similar accross all sites and most roles are for weekend shifts during the day.

The officer will manage access and egress.

Acting as a first line support to employees, contactors and visitors, providing a high standard of service for this customer.

The officer will ensuring no unauthorised visitors have access to the site and will provide guidance on the rules to visitors, residents and contractors alike.

Competing paperwork accurately, issuing passes and keys along with monitoring the CCTV, dealing with emergencies are al duties within this role

Provide support in emergencies and evacuations

CCTV Monitoring

Be 100% reliable and of smart appearance (uniform provided)
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
A professional demeanour with sound judgement and integrity.
IT Literate
Strong customer focus
Experience of working in the Security Industry would be preferred but not essential
A valid SIA Licence
Manned Guarding (SG) or Door Supervisor (DS)
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

The succesful applicants will be rostered for regular shifts with the chance to pick up additional overtime shifts.

£9.90 per hour. Pay award pending to £10.90/hr in 2023
