(plus 10% Flexibility Allowance)

This is an opportunity to become part of the well-established, excellent team of Caretakers at Coleg Gwent.

This post is to be based at the Crosskeys Campus but will include providing cover, as required at other College Campus sites.

The role is varied but the main duties involve unlocking and locking College premises; carrying out a range of tests for example emergency lighting and fire alarms; moving furniture, setting up classrooms, exam halls; delivering packages around the site, liaising with contractors; keeping the site clean and tidy and ensuring maintenance is undertaken or reported as relevant.

Training on all aspects of the job will be provided.

Caretakers come into contact with learners, staff and members of public throughout the working day and it is essential that a polite and professional and helpful attitude is displayed at all times.
