Role Purpose

We are investing in community safety and developing new innovative approaches with partners and residents to maximise our collective partnership effort.
This role is one where a person with excellent communication skills, possessing a calm manner with the ability to work with people from different backgrounds, cultures and ages will excel.
The Role:
To be part of a service of uniformed officers who are deployed to work alongside various partners that support the Community Safety Partnership.
Provide a responsive service, including using effective links to a range of support services but also take enforcement action where proportionate and necessary.
Undertake this range of work across the entire borough in which the work of individual teams within the service, are also aligned to specific localities to provide focussed support and being the face of the service locally.
To be accredited officers under the Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS) using designated powers from the Metropolitan Police.
_ This role requires staff to successfully pass the Metropolitan Police Non-Police Personnel Vetting and the Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS) powers. Failure to maintain this accreditation (whilst employed by the Council), may lead to the termination of employment._
