Description
Purpose
To assist the HSE Officer to manage and maintain a safe working environment for all operatives, office employees, and third parties whilst adhering to all HSE management systems, and adopting a customer-focused approach to the client and their representatives.
Specific Duties
- Assist the HSE Officers in the completion of daily, weekly and monthly Client and Director reporting General Support Administration as requested by HSE Officers
- Assist with the creation of audit schedules and share these schedules with key stakeholders
- Assist in ensuring documentation and audits are filed appropriately and in a timely manner
- Gain an understanding of health and safety polices, safety training and document control systems as part of the GBC HSE team.
- Assist the HSE Officer to develop and review all documents comprising of H & S management systems and regularly audit their implementation
- Assist the HSE Officers in developing systems of work and other administrative duties
- Assist the HSE Officers in ensuring all company compliances are adhered to
- Maintain accurate records, analyse relevant Health and Safety data and compile reports in relation to company objectives and key performance indicators
- Book Site Safety Audits with our Auditing Team. Collate and maintain information and the Audit matrix to a high standard
- Encourage the reporting of hazards and incidents/accidents
- Assist the HSE Officers in incident/accident reporting and filing
- Attend Health and Safety Project meetings with HSE Officer
- Any other duties as assigned
- Inputting Health and Safety data into the Health and Safety software database
