Hours of work: 39 Hrs PW, Monday - Friday
Salary:
Competitive, up to £75,000 dependant on experience
Role:
To lead and co-ordinate the Rugby site strategy to deliver a significant culture and production systems change. This will deliver a sustainable step change in output and processes across the site to benchmark levels. To manage the scope of the culture change project and co-ordinate the resource cross functionally to achieve this. To create an environment of continuous improvement, accountability, and sustainability at Rugby.
Key Responsibilities:
- Incept, develop and deploy the Rugby site change strategy to deliver sustainable benchmark performance.
- Ensure responsible individuals are held accountable for the delivery of the strategic priorities and their performance is tracked and monitored.
- Track and monitor the implementation of the strategy, manage and flex cross functional resources to achieve the program in a disciplined manner.
- Identify appropriate data sources, create focused information with analyse and trending to find sustainable opportunities.
- Perform data analyses as part of an integrated program of process control and designed experimentation.
- Clearly communicate the strategic plan, stakeholder requirements, regular communication updates and brief successes
- Ensure improved results are underpinned with sustainable solutions and learnings (training, skills matrix, SOPs/OPLs etc.)
- Forecast, prioritize and manage opex & capex budgets to achieve the required results within the approved envelope.
- Identify, develop and increase the capabilities of the equipment / process to deliver ongoing improvements.
- Develop a training and learning environment within the Production and Engineering Teams that provides employees with skills, knowledge and capabilities to enhance their performance and the plants
- Have the gravitas and personality to lead and deliver a huge site wide project.
- Provide clear, strong leadership and direction for the site strategy to achieve the plant and business objectives and KPIs with clear accountabilities and responsibilities to deliver great results
- Coach, build and develop an operational team who are capable of creating sustainable performance improvement, within a motivating and empowering environment.
- Act as a role model for the company / plant values and behaviours.
- Establish, maintain and develop an employee culture of Teamwork, Trust and Excellence to collaboratively achieve the business and personal goals.
