Position Summary:
This position supports FBS Operations from the scheduling and planning of all orders to meeting and maintaining service levels for all clients at a supervisory level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull correct material from inhouse software systems
- Pick and pack orders
- Book transport and receive deliveries from couriers
- Receive into the relevant unit and onto a relevant software system
- Complete GMP paperwork in a timely manner
- Inventory material against document inventory
- Complete Cycle Counts as and when requested by PM
- Follow SOPs
- Contribute to the business metrics by supporting the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Champion for the Bishop's Stortford site
- Support and maintain compliance with all regulatory agencies, this includes but is not limited to; MHRA (GMP), HTA, HFEA, and ISO accreditation
- Ensures a complete understanding of all inventory systems such as GPM and In-Trak and any future systems that may be implemented
- Support the culture of continuous improvement through the PPI Lean process
- Ensure all jobrelated paperwork is accurate, errorfree, and completed in realtime as per SOPs
- Exhibits appropriate behaviour, language, and appearance at all times on the job or at company events
- To be available for infrequent overtime work as required and be willing to attend site, out of hours, in the case of emergency or outstanding work requirement
- To perform any tasks necessary to run specific projects
- This position functions in a repository environment, which may include working with dry ice, liquid nitrogen cryogenics, hazardous and infectious agents, as well as marked changes in temperature
- Scheduling of all project work in line with Project Managers
- Ensures all process activities (receiving, picking, packing, kitting, inventory and dispatch) are processed in a timely manner and in accordance with all company documents and regulatory agencies
- Ensures all aspects of the Quality Management System are followed for overall compliance
- Ensure that all PR's, CAPA's and Change Controls are completed in the required time frame
- Provide appropriate cover and support to the operation management team in terms of holidays and absence
- Provide training as needed for all processes within the operations team
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- GCSE level or equivalent
- IT literate preferably Microsoft Office
- Good verbal and written communication
- Ability to read and interpret general procedures and governmental regulations.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, and volume.
- Builds positive working relationships
- Able to work to a tight schedule and to support others within the team
- Handson experience working with biological and/or pharmaceutical samples (desirable)
- Experience working in a GMP (GxP) environment (desirable)
- Frequently required to type, sit, stand, walk, lift/carry up to 25kg. Occasionally required to push/roll 280kg lb liquid nitrogen dewars and 4500kg freezers, and work from a platform ladder
- Oncall requirement for the role therefore will preferably live no more than 30 minutes driving time from the facility
