We have an excellent opportunity for a CRM Import Assistant to join our team.

You will import data from multiple sources into The Donkey Sanctuary's customer relationship management (CRM) database (currently BBCRM from Blackbaud), ensuring income received and supporter details are accurately uploaded into the CRM database.

You will also support the CRM team in ensuring data integrity, including data cleansing, housekeeping routines and basic level support for users.

Substantial experience of working with databases and spreadsheets;
Demonstrates a high level of accuracy;
Able to remain focussed with a varied and demanding workload within a busy team;
Able to demonstrate excellent problem solving and analytical skills;
Able to communicate complex data issues clearly;
Excellent IT skills;
Able to demonstrate the ability to make good decisions under pressure and deliver on deadlines;
Fluent in English
Full valid driving licence.

About the role:

Your principal duties and responsibilities will include
On a daily basis download data files from The Donkey Sanctuary website and external file servers, and import the data into the CRM database, ensuring income received and supporter details are accurately uploaded into the CRM database. Using various data tools such as Knime, QAS Batch and Excel Macros to manipulate the data ready for importing into the CRM database;
On a daily basis ensure that data is received to an agreed schedule, identifying missing data files and liaising with external suppliers and internal teams as necessary;
Maintaining the data flow between the Research and Operational Support database (Animal Management System (AMS)) and the supporter CRM database by processing regular change reports to ensure the CRM database is kept up to date and accurate;
Perform housekeeping tasks, to support the CRM team in their maintenance of accurate data to inform evidencebased decision making by the wider fundraising team;
Using learnt knowledge of The Donkey Sanctuary and its processes develop a body of CRM database knowledge to resolve basic enduser issues, using judgement to identify any items requiring immediate action whilst adhering to data protection requirements with regard to The Donkey Sanctuary data policies.
Maintain excellent relationships with all The Donkey Sanctuary departments, acting as an ambassador for the Marketing Communications Directorate at all times;

The working pattern for this role will combine onsite and home working under our guiding principles for such roles, with onsite attendance currently anticipated to be 24 days per month.
