Commerce Lead - London/Hybrid Working - Up to £100k


Are you a Commerce Lead, experienced across Retail Media and Digital Transformation, looking to join one of the biggest Media agencies on the planet? If yes, this is just the role for you.

Working for an industry-leading client this role is ideal for someone looking to make their mark.


As Commerce Lead, you'll ultimately be responsible for bringing Retail Media, Omni-channel and Digital Transformation expertise to the client and will be a key member of the wider agency's growing Commerce team.

Having a broad remit across the key pillars of Commerce media including Retail Media, D2C, Marketplaces, Ecommerce strategy, and more, you would also need to be familiar with the main adtech partners & data suppliers.


This Commerce Lead will be working on one of the agencies flagship accounts, this is an incredible opportunity for an individual with a proven Commerce and agency background to work within an ambitious fast growing team and to continue to develop a market-leading proposition.


This Commerce Lead will be responsible for:

  • Development and management of Commerce media strategy to effectively deliver upon client objectives and targets, acting as point person for strategic Commerce initiatives; bringing innovative media ideas across the breadth of relevant channels
  • Work with client leads to ensure best practice for ongoing management of campaigns and ways of working/process across the team
  • Provides strategic thinking and direction for processes & ways of working for their cliemt's overall Commerce growth, ensuring the client's business and agency team are at the forefront of the industry and gaining competitive advantage at every opportunity.
  • Present to senior clients and take accountability for strategic implementation and campaign performance
  • Managing and leading the strategy for all Commerce channels including; Google Search, Retail Media, Marketplace Media (Amazon Sponsored Ads and DSP), delivering on short term and long term plans, including delivery against budget / forecasts
  • Supporting the Activation Lead as their "Go-To" person for all elements of Commerce activation
  • Leading the Commerce activation teams, supporting the channel leads to make tactical changes to adapt to market conditions.

As Commerce Lead, you will also have/be the following?

  • Substantial experience(810 Years) in and passion for Commerce media, with a focus on retail media / marketplaces/ Media agencies
  • Understanding of the retail landscape and the latest trends in commerce media
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to clients, leadership and internal stakeholders
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners and within a cross media cross functional client team.
  • Problem solver and strategic thinker with the ability to identify improvement opportunities
  • A selfstarter attitude that thrives in a fastpaced environment
  • Experience in campaign management and optimization across multiple retail platforms preferred (Amazon, Criteo, Google, Citrus etc.)
  • Knowledge of 3rd party Commerce tools (Pacvue, Skai, Profitero not exclusive to these)
  • Results and outcomes driven
  • Be an exceptional senior stakeholder manager, both internally and externally and able to influence and take people on a journey at all levels.
  • Be a great team leader and people manager with the ability to encourage and build a brilliant team which is both technically and culturally in line with the agency and client values.
  • A proven track record in defining and leading large client relationships across Commerce
