The Role:
The task and purpose of this role is to provide proactive technical and enablement on Cyber Security vendors to our customers, suppliers and internal sales staff so as to help us and our vendors grow their market presence.
This is a key role requiring a genuine interest and passion in understanding disruptive technology and developing routes to market in the UK.
The role will be responsible for evangelising our solutions with IT resellers, staff and end-users.This will include training, demo's, pre-sales support with enquiries, installation and deployment support and post sales 1st / 2nd line support.
There will be a requirement to understand the commercial impact your role can and should play in driving Sales engagement and GP, you will be expected to constantly identify opportunities to offer additional parts of our portfolio or services to resellers and end-users where beneficial to them and us.
Objective:
To ensure all KPIs are met including monthly targets as set out by the Operations Board and build upon those targets.
To ensure your time is being properly tracked and billed where applicable
To identify commercial opportunities including new potential target vendors, new potential training or professional services, new commercial campaigns.
Key Responsibilities include:
Product Demos:
- Providing demonstrations inperson, at events and via webinar of your focus products and the overall solution
Training:
- Training resellers on your focus products, their technical benefits and how to install / use them
- Leading accreditation training courses and then administering tests for resellers to become accredited on brands we are an Authorised Training Centre for
- Managing and leading admin courses for endusers on how to use your focus products whether on enduser site or at a central training location
Installation & Configuration:
- Leading and supporting resellers as needed on the technical installation and deployment of these solutions, providing technical support via webinar, in person demos or trade shows
- Supporting deployments with any prework required by using our configuration centre
- Offering physical and remote installation and technical services on behalf of resellers as required
Commercial Opportunity Maximisation:
- Ensuring the company achieve their professional services target by working with the sales team to help them sell your services as well as ensuring your time is being properly tracked & billed
- Constantly looking for opportunities to add value to all stakeholders by offering broader parts of the business solution stack when engaging with resellers and end users
- Identifying new professional services or associated product sales opportunities and driving growth across the business, whilst working closely with other key organisational stakeholders.
- Identifying new potential vendors for the business to approach about distribution
- Testing new potential vendors identified by the commercial team to better understand the technologies, advantages and shortcomings
Technical Support:
- First/second line support on technical enquiries from resellers / end users
Other:
- Any other duties as may be defined at a later date

£50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
