The Vacancy
Apprentice Progression Coach
Depaul UK are now offering an Apprenticeship Programme aimed at people aged 16+ interested in working within the Social Care sector.
This Apprenticeship role will be based at our Supported Accommodation service in Willesden, North London (accessible by public transport and based a short walk from Willesden Green Station).
Joining us as an Apprentice offers you full-time; paid work for 15 months.You will participate in a comprehensive training programme and benefit from the opportunity to gain an Adult Care Worker qualification.
In the role of apprentice, you will:
- Develop the necessary skills knowledge and behaviour to manage a caseload; working with clients in a person-centred and psychologically informed way.
- You will learn about various approaches to promoting wellbeing and recovery.
- You will learn how to represent Depaul's Values in your work.
- Develop the necessary skills and experience to work as part of the team to deliver the daytoday service alongside colleagues and external partners.
- Work closely with the team to receive on the job learning; shadowing staff to observe how Depaul delivers evidencebased interventions to end homelessness, linking clients with a diverse range of multidisciplinary teams and resources.
- You will complete a mixture of clientfacing work and formal learning whilst working towards a recognised qualification.
