This is a manual job and includes heavy lifting for an individual who is self-motivated, but also able to follow instructions.
Main responsibilities:
- Abiding by & promoting Health & Safety, ensuring all approved policies & processes are followed
- Sweeping, shovelling and moving any waste that needs removing
- Following a cleaning schedule to ensure downtime is minimised
- Undertaking a wide variety of cleaning activities using different hand tools
- Wearing of dust mask
- Reporting to work on time
- Operating variety of mobile plant if trained and required
- Performing other duties as the Company may from time to time reasonably require
Skills/Qualifications:
- Ability to work at heights and be harnessed trained
- Understanding 'lock off' procedures and ability to complete a lock off form.
- Fitness to be able to do physical work and ability to climb ladders
- Attention to detail
Applicants must be enthusiastic, reliable, punctual, self-motivated, capable of working within a team and demonstrate a proactive attitude and commitment to Health and Safety.
