Medical Record Collation Ltd (MRC) specialise in the collation and analysis of medical records, working for a large number of clinical negligence and personal injury law firms across the country.
Our company was recently awarded Medico-legal Provider of the Year and is going through an exciting phase of growth.
If you can demonstrate being hard working, organised, able to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy, and have excellent communication and IT skills then this is a fantastic opportunity for you to join us.
Your main role will be to support the Administration team by handling routine tasks and customer queries; ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard, whilst meeting budgetary and time expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Checkingin cases in a timely fashion and with attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring any queries are raised with the client
- Providing accurate estimates to clients
- Occasionally printing medical records from disk or PDF, although most of our work is done digitally
- Working accurately with company templates
- Uploading radiology investigations to our radiology platform and preparing Schedules of Radiology
- Working with and manipulating PDF records using PDF software
- Completing quality control checks on documents, paying particular attention to spelling and grammar
- Preparing cases for return to clients (including preparing invoices) ensuring that all documentation meets the highest possible standard
Other Areas of Responsibility:
- To assist with the smoothrunning of the business, supporting colleagues where possible
- To seek improvements and efficiencies in all areas of the business and assist the team in their implementation
- To work in a professional manner, treating all colleagues and contacts with respect and courtesy
- To attend and contribute to team meetings to aid staff, business and organisational development
Key Skills:
- Computer literate with excellent typing skills
- Numerate
- Meticulous in nature and able to pay exceptional attention to detail
- Able to work logically, methodically and efficiently within tight deadlines
- A good communicator both verbal and written
- Have a willingness to learn new skills
- Be able to work within a team and independently
Salary:
£23,000.00 per year
