Description

Our client based in Great Blakenham are looking for an experienced Forklift Team Leader to manage their team.

As the Lead Forklift driver you will coordinate and organise the team of FLT drivers and efficiently manage process of material delivered into and out of the MRF (Materials Recycling Facility) in a safe and efficient manner.

This will include administration to record operational activity as well as hands-on forklift duties in the event of reduced staffing levels due to absence or holiday.

Skills Required

Be actively willing to help others and adhere to all Company health and safety processes and procedures.
Able to assist and support both your team and the Company during periods of positive commercial change.
Must be driven, proactive, adaptable and flexible and have a "can do attitude".
Strong team and leadership ethic and comfortable with making difficult decisions to benefit the department as a whole.
Supervisor or team leading experience essential as people management is a large part of this role and robust and difficult conversations with team members may be required in the event of poor conduct.
Ability to delegate jobs as well as be handson and efficiently organise workload of team members to maximise efficiency of department.

47.5 hour week Monday to Friday)
