Overview:
The IT Service Coordinator plays a vital role in the transition and support of our IT services, and is an ideal role for developing an understanding of how the strategic and operational components of IT services interrelate.
You will work in a multidisciplinary Service Management environment, managing and reporting on all areas of technical service delivery, including updating and maintaining the systems, processes and documentation for practices such as asset and configuration management, environment management, service design, change control, incident, and problem management.
The Chief Digital Office (CDO) division is responsible for delivering the infrastructure, capability and digital solutions that will support the Social Security Programme and ultimately the new Agency.
Key focus areas of the CDO Division are:
- Architecture and overall design;
- Technologies and platforms;
- Digital Risk and Cyber Protection;
- Operational Delivery and Capability;
- Commercial Arrangements.

Hybrid and Flexible Working

Responsibilities:
The IT Service Coordinator will assist Service Management & Service Development (SMSD) to manage and report on all areas of technical service delivery.
asset and configuration information, maintenance/improvement plans, designs, acceptance checklists, RAID logs, Agile backlog tracking & prioritisation, change control processes, incident and problem records etc.
Provide support to and maintain processes for Reporting, Governance and Audit related activities.
Build engagement and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders, provide a point of contact for service issues and/or technical changes.
Assist implementation of best practice by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement or gaps in service, and by promoting the use ITIL frameworks in supporting technical services.
Support and chair relevant Divisional & Governance meetings: coordinate members, record agendas and papers, manage actions, analyse and report on outcomes.
- An IT Service Coordinator is responsible for supporting delivery of IT Services according to their Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Operational Level Agreement (OLAs) across all relevant business functions.
