Supporter Care Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Supporter Care Specialist to join an organisation building brighter futures for vulnerable children.


Position:
Supporter Care Specialist


Location:
Flexibility between home-based or office-based at headquarters in Milton Keynes/London Hub.

Minimum of 1 day a month in the office. Required to attend the office for first 4 weeks for training.

Hours:
Full-time, 36.5 hours per week


Contract:
Permanent


Salary:
£21,000 per annum pro rata plus a good range of benefits

About the role:

Key responsibilities will include:
*Create and maintain accurate supporter records in line with all relevant regulations including those relating to data protection, child protection and safeguarding.
*Carry out outbound calls to supporters to encourage them to maintain and increase their support, ensuring the retention of supporters is maximised and cancellations are minimised.
*Manage changes within child sponsorships, sensitively and appropriately to ensure sponsors continue their support.
*Effectively resolve complaints from supporters within agreed deadlines, in a way that maintains their support of the organisation.


About you:


For the Supporter Care Specialist position, you will have the ability to solve problems and queries as well as outstanding relational and communicational skills - including excellent letter-writing abilities and great attention to detail.

To perform well in the role of Supporter Care Specialist, you'll need:
*Awareness of Data Protection and Child Protection, and the need to follow procedures.
*Outstanding relational and communication skills - including excellent letter-writing abilities including attention to detail.
*Ability to plan, prioritise and arrange own workload and work on own initiative within fluctuating workloads.
