Pay Rate:
£26.60 per hour PAYE An opening for a Gas Inspector to join Camden's M&E team and manage the quality control of our gas servicing, maintenance and new installs. This is a key role to ensure the borough's compliance duties meet the requirement and plant is well maintained through our contracts to deliver a dependable service for our residents. Carry out inspections on gas servicing, new gas boiler installations and daily heating and hot water repairs. Ensure that all works undertaken are performed to a safe and high standard of reliability, professionalism and meet the needs of our residents.

"Role Requirements" - to give yourself the maximum chance of success please try and ensure your CV addresses the following essential criteria:

Qualifications:

ACS accredited Gas engineer with at least 10 years with the gas industry.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
Widespread experience of the installation / maintenance requirements of various systems and have a thorough understanding of domestic and commercial gas regulations.
Demonstrate knowledge and experience of working in a similar post.
Good understanding in contract management and delivering gas contracts with responsibilities to make certain the services are delivered well.
Able of working across teams and with external suppliers to achieve the best outcome for the borough's residents.
Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
