Interim Gas Inspector - Housing

Pay Rate:
£26.60 per hour PAYE
An opening for a Gas Inspector to join Camden's M&E team and manage the quality control of our gas servicing, maintenance and new installs. This is a key role to ensure the borough's compliance duties meet the requirement and plant is well maintained through our contracts to deliver a dependable service for our residents. Carry out inspections on gas servicing, new gas boiler installations and daily heating and hot water repairs. Ensure that all works undertaken are performed to a safe and high standard of reliability, professionalism and meet the needs of our residents.

Qualifications:


  • ACS accredited Gas engineer with at least 10 years with the gas industry.

Skills & Experience:


  • Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
  • Widespread experience of the installation / maintenance requirements of various systems and have a thorough understanding of domestic and commercial gas regulations.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience of working in a similar post.
  • Good understanding in contract management and delivering gas contracts with responsibilities to make certain the services are delivered well.
  • Able of working across teams and with external suppliers to achieve the best outcome for the borough's residents.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
