Position:
To facilitate performance for the respective shift team that is constantly ahead of budget, through inspiring their team to develop and maintain outstanding quality and delivery performance in parallel with focused cost management
The role is generally expected to be 20% leading and organizing, 80% direct operator depending on business need.
Requirements:
Responsibilities
- Ensure the utmost focus and highest standards with respect to HS&E
- Ensure the utmost focus on meeting product quality and compliance standards
- Providing the focal point for a team to ensure that issues and problems are highlighted and resolved as quickly as possible
- Lead start of shift meetings and ensuring all issues/actions are followed through
- Act as the focal point for all communications ensuring the timely flow of information
- Facilitate 100% customer satisfaction through on time delivery to the highest levels of quality
- Ownership of all appropriate business tools and metrics for the team, ensuring that they are used with maximum impact to drive team performance, e.g TMS
- Work with the Operations Director and Value Stream Manager to facilitate enabled, empowered and engaged employees
- Work with the Operations Director and Value Stream Manager facilitate value improvement through CI actions and ensuring a focus on cost awareness
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships throughout the value stream and across the business in order to foster teamwork and collective accountability
